Need password Help?

Usernames and Passwords are only issued to staff of the NSW Health system. To check or obtain the username and password for your NSW Health facility you can:

• go to the HealthTechnology Intranet site (only available from within a NSW Health facility).
• contact your local CIAP representative
• call CIAP Help Desk on 1800 824 279

CIAP Help desk

For any difficulties accessing the CIAP website or CIAP resources, call the CIAP Help Desk 24 hours, 7 days per week on 1800 824 279. Depending on the time of day, your call will be forwarded to the appropriate support person.

OVID Help Desk

For Medline, CINAHL, PsycINFO, EMBASE, Journals@OVID, Maternity & Infant Care and EBMR (Evidence Based Medicine Research) support, call the OVID Help Desk on 1800 246 473, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Technical Information

Many features of the CIAP website and CIAP resources rely on Javascript. For best results, ensure that your browser has JavaScript enabled. You may require support from your system administrator for this.

Cookies

While the CIAP website does not install cookies on your computer, many of the CIAP resources rely on cookies to be enabled on your browser. You may require support from your system administrator for this.

Database System Status

You can check the status of CIAP resource databases by going to the HCN Support and System Status page. This page will indicate if there are any known problems with databases. If there are no known problems on this page, then ring the CIAP help desk on 1800 824 279.

URL/IP addresses for CIAP resources and approved sites

The list of URLs and IP addresses for CIAP resources and other approved sites is regularly being updated. See the list in Excel format. The new URLs and IP addresses are indicated in red.
