How to apply for NSW TAG membership

You may like to become a more active participant in the TAG network by becoming an affiliate member. Affiliate membership is by invitation, nomination or application and is open to:

  • Organisations and individuals considered by the TAG committee to have a strategic alliance with NSW TAG

  • Representatives from public or private hospitals in Australia.

  • Representatives from health insurance organisations in Australia with a proven interest in TAG’s terms of reference Individual health professionals with a proven interest in TAG’s terms of reference

  • Others with a proven interest in TAG’s terms of reference, at the discretion of the committee.

 

TAG affiliate members receive:

  • All resource documents produced by TAG

  • Minutes of NSW TAG meetings

  • Drug Committee Decisions provided by member hospitals

  • Adverse Drug Reaction Reports provided by member hospitals

  • TAGNet bulletins

  • Other information considered to be of interest to the TAG network

  • Weekly e-mail newsletter: TAG Mail.

 

You will also have access to a 'members only' section of the TAG website which contains:

  • Copies of selected protocols, bulletins and guidelines from member hospitals

  • Contact details for all TAG and TAGNet members

  • Tools for DUE activity (such as validated data-collection forms and outlines for DUE projects)

  • Documents and correspondence relevant to TAG issues

  • Minutes of TAG group and other working groups such as the DUE Support Group.

  • Collated e-mail discussions on topics of interest to our members

  • Other information requested by members and affiliates.

 

Our membership fees as at 01/10/09 are:

  • Interstate public hospital $137.50 per annum

  • Private Hospitals & overseas $275.00 per annum

  • Other organisations $550.00 per annum.
